Alexander Wittmann studied computer science with the minor subject of electrical engineering at the Technical University of Munich and works at the patent and law firm Mitscherlich PartmbB as a self-employed patent attorney in the area of industrial property protection. Mr Wittmann therefore is one of the few patent attorneys with a master's degree in computer science and a specialization in the field of electrical engineering.
As a patent attorney, Mr Wittmann regularly deals with cases in the fields of software, IT & computer technology, telecommunications, electrical engineering & electronics, semi-conductor technology and medical technology.
Alexander Wittmann was trained at Mitscherlich PartmbB as a patent attorney trainee in all fields of industrial property protection and completed a course of study in general law at the FernUniversität in Hagen.
His training also included positions at the patent dispute senate of the Higher Regional Court in Munich and at the German Patent Offices (German Patent and Trademark Office and Federal Patent Court).
Mr Wittmann also works as a self-employed IT consultant and provides consulting services with regard to technical and strategic issues; IT security, IT infrastructures, web development and webhosting constitute the core areas of his consulting services. To this end, his study of computer science at the Technical University of Munich, and his time at the Fraunhofer-Institut für Angewandte und Integrierte Sicherheit (AISEC) particularly qualify Mr Wittmann for this position.
Furthermore, Mr Wittmann has sound rhetorical, didactic, communication and moderating skills, the ability to think analytically and entrepreneurially, experience from a number of consulting projects, as well as an interesting network for accelerating processes.
